Hampshire Search and Rescue receives £15k from the ASDA Foundation.

HAMPSHIRE SEARCH AND RESCUE RECEIVES £15K DONATION FROM THE ASDA FOUNDATION TO FUND NEW RADIOS

On 30 July Hampshire Search and Rescue was the beneficiary of a £15905 donation from the ASDA Foundation which was presented by Des Scott the Mayor of Eastleigh.

Phil Harvey, Vice Chairman, said “This funding will allow us to replace our current elderly radio system with digital radios which have a better range and the ability to send and receive data such as pictures whilst also allowing us to link up with other search and rescue teams when needed.”
